Brett lived most of his life in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne with the United States Army. Brett has spent time as a diving instructor and dive master in Florida and the Cayman Islands.

Physiological Measurements/Advantages
The following physiological statistics were established December 13th, 2000 during testing at Simon Fraser University with Dr. Erik Seedhouse and Dr. Andrew Blaber for an on-going freediving research study entitled Psychophysiological Testing of Novice and Elite Freedivers. It’s important to bear in mind that many of the measurements can increase dramatically during a training cycle.

Diving History
Brett started freediving in 1995 and since that time has accomplished some amazing achievements under the guidance of his friend and trainer Kirk Krack. These accomplishments have been recognized world over and he is a well-respected member of the international freediving community.
