The class will be held at Pacific Pro Dive located at 101-2270 Cliffe Ave, Courtenay, BC V9N 2L4 Directions. Class will start at 8am on the first Sat. Ocean sessions will be held off a boat. Boat fees will be about $85/day.
Which course is for you?
Intermediate Freediver: Your knowledge of safety, rescue or problem management is limited. You’re comfortable with basic freediving and achieve depths anywhere from 6 – 20m / 20 – 66 feet with relative comfort and have a breath-hold time of around 1 minute or longer. You’re not sure of extended freediving physiology or the physics that affect you during your freedives. You have experience in Scuba, Freediving and/or Spearfishing.

Format / Duration – 4-Days
The Intermediate course will be held over 4-days .
The Intermediate course runs as follows:Day 1: Class 8am-2pm. Pool from 3-6pm Day 2: Class 8-1pm. Pool from 2-5pm Day 3: Class from 8am-1pm. Open water diving 2-6pm Day 4: open water diving 9am-4pm (2 dives with lunch break between)
- Good health and fitness (must compete the PFI medical form)
- 12 years of age with guardian permission
Cost – Intermediate Freediver is $745+GST

Registration and Payment Details
To secure your spot in a course, we need to receive both your registration and either a 50% deposit or full payment. Any outstanding course balance is due by the start of the course. See our course schedule to register.
